Beautiful antique ceramic Picher by Boris Kassianoff (1932-2016) great ceramist and sculptor from Vallauris, France.
Artist piece, high handmade quality, sober and elegant.
After studying Fine Arts in Paris, he first worked at Fernand Milazzo before opening his own studio. His talent as a sculptor, painter and potter earned him exposure at the Maison de la Pensée Française, Galerie Carlier and Galerie Le Point Cardinal in Paris, as well as at the Reichenbach Gallery in Huston, Texas. Returning in 1963, he participated in the Vallauris Biennales in 1970, 1972, 1976, 1980 and 1982 and numerous exhibitions
