Cobalt Blue Italian Murano Glass Punchbowl Set with Gold Trim, Floral Design
The deep cobalt blue color of this Murano glass Punchbowl set is so rich and beautiful, highlighting the incredible gold overlay and the hand-painted floral designs found on both the Punchbowl and the six glasses (or Cups).
The lovely floral motif is a blend of soft colors, mostly blues and greens with a hint of darker blue and burnt umber. Raised white stamens or petals are also added for a dimensional touch. This is otherwise in excellent condition. Glowing, glittering and stunning in the sunlight!
Several of the glasses have a "Made in Italy" decal, circa mid-century.
The Punchbowl measures 9.3/4 inches (25 cm) high to the top and is 5 inches (13 cm) Dia at the bottom. The glasses measure 2 1/2"(6,5 cm) high by 2 1/2inches (6,5cm) across at the top.
