This is a Itomaki no tachi. The mounts are from the late 1700s-1800s. The blade is by the famous Bizen Sukemitsu. The sword has well balanced horimono and a Ubu nakago. This is among the rarest to find. Sukemitsu worked in the sue Bizen period around 1500's.
